OK, so a year (to the day) passes and I finally put up a new journal entry. A little bit has happened since then.

I finally got married to Kristal. The wedding was really nice. Y'all can see a few pics in my gallery.

I failed out of the Arabic program at DLI. Turns out, arabic is hard to read. But after I failed, I spent a few months teaching arabic to privates. I really enjoyed that. So, I've decided to try to become a high school teacher. Hopefully arabic & German. I'll have to brush up on both.

I was sent to Camp Lejeune for my new MOS training & station. Everything about this is lame. This place is terrible. You'd think a military base would improve the economy of the area. Instead, you get strip clubs, ABC stores, Haircut places, & car dealers that exist by fucking marines over.

Good news is that Kristal will be living with me for the summer. It'll be nice to finally have a home.

Well, still a Lance Corporal right now. I'm pretty close to making Corporal, though. Hopefully I stop getting NON-RECed. Oh well.
