Well, kids, here's the story:

I've finally stopped getting non-RECed. However, a paperwork error is keeping me at LCpl. I'm gonna look into having it fixed by the end of DEC. This way, I should be able to wear the rank that I rate.

I've finally been put onto a roster for deployment. I have nearly no information on it. It should be sometime next year. I'll either go to the demilitarization of Iraq, the up-Arms of Afganistan, or a float around in the Mediterranean. It'd be nice to go somewhere where I could speak Arabic to the people. It would also be nice to see Sicilia again. I'm not so amped about going to Afganistan, though. But, whatever. In any case, I'll have finally deployed.

For those of you that didn't know, I've been a light smoker for about a year and a half. I'd like to take this opportunity to announce that I've given up on the cigs. I still have a Black & Mild now & then, though.
